Since I started to work as a wedding photographer in Bordeaux, I have always placed great importance on establishing a genuine connection with my couples. The engagement session, held a few days or months before the big day, is an excellent opportunity to get to know each other and ensure even better photos on the wedding day. It allows you to become accustomed to the camera and feel completely comfortable in front of me, easing any apprehension on your wedding day.

In the city, in a park, amidst vineyards, or by the ocean, our region is full of beautiful locations for your session. Whether you choose the charm of the cobblestone streets of Bordeaux or Saint-Émilion, the beauty of the vineyards of Les Sources de Caudalie, or the magic of the beaches at Dune du Pilat and the Bassin d’Arcachon, I will guide you through these exceptional settings to capture a unique moment of complicity for the two of you!

Meet each other

The engagement session (or Love session) is a couple’s photo shoot that provides the perfect opportunity to get to know each other in a setting that feels comfortable and personal to you. It’s a relaxed moment where we can chat freely, much like a conversation at the hairdresser’s. This session allows me to better understand how comfortable you are in front of the camera, determine if you might need guidance, and familiarize you with my way of working. Through the photos from this session, your loved ones will get a glimpse of my style and, in turn, build a trusting relationship with me.

Have fun

The main goal of this session is to HAVE FUN! No stress or pressure: the idea is to fully enjoy the moment while capturing beautiful photos. We cuddle, we kiss passionately, we run, we jump, and for the bravest, we dive right in! In short, we let go completely. The more you let yourselves go, the more natural and beautiful the photos will be. In a way, this engagement session is the perfect rehearsal for the couple’s photos on your wedding day.

Illustrate

Haven’t finalized your invitations yet? The engagement session is a great opportunity to create unique and personalized visuals to announce your wedding. Whether in black and white or color, these photos will capture your connection and add a personal touch to your invites. You can choose from your most beautiful shots to surprise your guests and give them a preview of your big day. A creative and elegant way to share your happiness!

Decorate

In 95% of cases (unofficial but verified statistic from experience!), your engagement photos find their place on the big day. They can be displayed around the gift table, framed with a mat for guests to leave a message, or showcased in beautiful frames. These photos become decorative elements that add a personal touch to your wedding. A wonderful way to share these memories with your loved ones!
