This is a session I won’t forget anytime soon! Marion reached out to me for a family photoshoot with her husband Flavien, their little girl Maïlys, and their dog Panda (you’ll soon understand where that name comes from 😉).

We met at the Bordeaux Floral Park. Despite the heatwave, the park offered beautiful shaded areas and a small stream, making the warmth more bearable.

At first, Maïlys was a little shy. To help her feel comfortable, I started by taking a few photos of Marion, showing her that this session was meant to be a fun moment to create beautiful memories.

But soon, shyness gave way to another challenge: Maïlys was in pain due to a urinary infection. Continuing the session was impossible, and it broke our hearts to see her like that. So, we decided to pause and reschedule.

A few days later, Maïlys was back in great shape, and I met this lovely family again at the park… on their wedding anniversary!

She was still a bit shy at first, but it quickly turned into excitement. Between games, races, rolling in the grass, and splashing around, Maïlys had a blast and fully embraced the moment. The park’s soft light, which I love, was perfect for capturing beautiful, heartfelt moments.

We wrapped up the session in the tall grass, just as the sun was setting (with some mosquito company!), capturing a stunning portrait of Maïlys, beaming with joy.
